They must be knowledgeable in anatomy and physiology, as well as the principles of physical therapy and rehabilitation. They must be able to assess the animal’s condition and develop a treatment plan. They must also be able to monitor the animal’s progress and modify the treatment plan as needed. They must be able to communicate effectively with the veterinarian and the animal’s owner. Job Skills Required
