Temporary Research Assistant Jobs

20 % Perform experimental models relating to animal models of oral cancer and hematopoietic

20% Perform cell culture with cells and isolated primary cells

15% Perform molecular and cellular biology assays, including DNA, RNA, and protein isolation,

20% Compile, analyze and evaluate data

10% Draft scientific abstracts and manuscripts for conferences and peer-reviewed scientific

10% Present at regularly lab and department seminars

Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

Working knowledge of fifty-state surveys and previous experience working on one is preferred, but not required.

· Research employer-employee laws in all fifty states with remote workers in mind.

· Strong research, writing, and communication skills

Protected classes beyond Title VII

Effective communication skills in different settings, including active correspondence with the lead research assistant, student technicians, and PIs.

Experience backpack electrofishing or otherwise handling aquatic animals in a field setting.

Experience driving vehicles on logging roads.

Experience leading a field crew.

Experience working with ArcMap and R Programming Software.
