Preferably 3 year minimum experience, (Piping, Vessel and packaged equipment) fabrication
Figure Material Take-offs on drawings for cut lengths
Communicate with the helper as to which piece of Material or Equipment is needed for Each Project Task.
Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
Verify All Measurements and check for square and level before release to welder.

Structural steel fitters must be able to work with a variety of tools, including welding torches, grinders, and saws. They must be able to measure accurately and use basic math skills to calculate angles and lengths. They must also be able to lift and carry heavy objects, and work in tight spaces.
