Steward Dishwasher Jobs

Complete other tasks as assigned by Culinary Management Team.

Basic kitchen safety and cleaning knowledge

Knowledge of world class hospitality and service

Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing station, and trash compactor.

Wash and disinfect kitchen and store room areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.

Ensure clean wares are stored in appropriate areas.

Operating a conveyor dish machine

Washing dishes, pots, pans and utensils

General upkeep of the kitchen and loading dock area

Full-Time Dishwasher/Kitchen Steward (AM and PM Shift)

The Dishwasher/Kitchen Steward Is Responsible For

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must notify Manager or Chef immediately when dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures.

Auditory and visual abilities to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION:

Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine.

Sort and stack clean dishes. Carries clean dishes to cook's line and other proper storage areas. Rewashes soiled dishes before delivering.

6+ months dishwashing or restaurant experience.
