Procurement Sustainability Category Leader Jobs

Manages strategic raw material supplier relationships.

Manages raw material supply agreement development and implementation processes.

Manages the activities and performance of raw material buyers.

3-5 years’ related experience preferred.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Minimum of 7 + years’ experience in a product management, strategic sourcing or category management role is preferred.

Ownership of assigned product category performance and management of the overall strategy within their respective channel of responsibility.

Participate in customer meetings alongside sales and serve as the product and category management expert in key categories of focus.

Manage assigned vendor relationships and negotiate commercial agreements in coordination with divisional category management and market leadership.

Manage robust process to establish market and vendor costs to ensure maximum profitability.

Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, finance strategy, or closely related field required.

Reports any deviation in product or process, of which he/she becomes aware, to his/her manager or the Quality department.

5 years of strategic procurement experience

Proven and demonstrated successful experience and ability to think strategically about procurement in the context of overall business strategy.

Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

Knows and adheres to the quality policy of the company and the quality-related procedures and instructions.

Experience managing a sustainable sourcing program

Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for sustainable procurement practices

Develop and implement sustainable sourcing practices

Identify and qualify suppliers with sustainable products

Report on sustainable performance metrics including greenhouse gas emissions, waste reduction, social responsibility

Proven success in developing and implementing sustainable sourcing strategies
