Overview:

An Orthopedic Surgeon is a medical doctor who specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions and injuries of the musculoskeletal system, which includes bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles, and nerves. Orthopedic surgeons are responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. They perform physical examinations, order diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans. Orthopedic surgeons may perform surgical procedures such as joint replacement, arthroscopy, and spinal fusion. They also provide post-operative care, including wound care, pain management, and physical therapy.
