Oracle Database Admin Jobs

Experience with database optimization, performance tuning, backup and restoration (rman), tablespace allocation and management

Experience as an Oracle database administrator and/or Oracle database engineer

Experience with DDL scripts to create, maintain, and upgrade database schemas

Experience with SQL and PL/SQL to perform complex queries, data manipulations and data migrations

Experience upgrading existing Oracle databases to supported versions

Experience writing and maintaining Unix shell scripts

Evaluates and recommends available database management system (DBMS) products.

Requires Bachelor's degree with 8 or more years of relevant experience. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.

Performs database and software life-cycle activities to ensure highest level of system performance and availability and compliance with business requirements.

Up to 50% remote work allowed

Proficient in Oracle RDBMS, including 12c and 19c. Significant experience managing Oracle streams, text, multimedia, spatial.

Experience with JBOSS, Apache, Tomcat, Java

Key must have skill sets – database management

Manage all aspects of availablily and performance of Oracle database.

Experience in crafting database / data warehouse solutions in cloud (Preferably AWS. Alternatively Azure, GCP).

5+ years of experience in database administration, information technology, database architecture, or a related field

Demonstrated on-the-job experience with large-scale data migration

Demonstrated on-the-job experience designing storage and retrieval solutions for both structured and unstructured data, in support of data science pipelines

Strong Cloud Control / Oracle Enterprise Manager experience.

Perform change management (CM) role on the components and implement change requests based on CM processes.

Perform break/fix activities following incident management process.

Strong Oracle Database administration experience 12c, 18c, 19c.

Strong multi-tenant and multi-node Real Application Cluster database experience.

Strong AIX / Solaris / RHEL systems administration skills.

Strong experience of SSL Certificate management with wallet, keytool & openssl are highly preferred.

Ability to manage work of other DBAs and act as a consultant and advisor to management and other technical support staff.

Demonstrated experience in the support requirements of large database applications/systems including performance analysis and tuning of high volume, transaction systems.

Extensive knowledge and experience in the design and implementation of complex database architecture.

Strong Oracle Applications DBA with 12.2 skills with extensive experience in cloning and performance tuning

Bachelor's degree and 7 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience.

Education: 4-year University degree in computer science or equivalent work experience

7+ years of relevant technical experience in System administration/DevOps/SRE roles

Work from anywhere: onsite, hybrid or fully remote.

Has worked with installing and basic management of Oracle Analytic Publisher

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) experience

Patching non-production and production Linux database

Patching Web Logic and Oracle Analytic Publisher installations
