Mobile Unit Fleet Coordinator Jobs

Completes annual mandatory educational requirements, e.g., safety regulation and infection control review, departmental and unit specific competencies, etc.

Identifies appropriate site locations on solid level parking surfaces according to DPH licensure requirements.

Experience driving an ambulance is preferred.

AHA healthcare provider CRP certification is preferred.

Requires 6-12 months of experience driving a similar vehicle. Previous EMT experience preferred but not required.

Effective interpersonal skills necessary to communicate clearly to interact appropriately with nursing staff, patients, families/visitors, physicians, and other hospital staff.

A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.

High School Diploma or equivalent and experience in the supervision of personnel.

Health Unit Clerk (HUC) -Preferred

Provide unit support by assisting with bed assignments and maintaining accurate patient locations in Epic.

Assist in the onboarding and training of new employees to ensure all employees receive consistent and accurate information.

Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association within 90 Days- Required

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Preferred

Communicates effectively with patient, visitors and health care team.

Serves as gatekeeper for physician and nursing orders into the Patient Computer System (Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

Coordinates scheduling of diagnostic procedures and outpatient appointments.

Assists with patient flow and patient safety

Operates nursing unit equipment: pneumatic tube system, intercom system, fax machine, computer, printer and multi-line telephone.

Plans and executes a daily routine for performance of non-clinical tasks for the Nursing Unit.

OR recent hospital experience or similar experience as a Health Unit Coordinator; such as medical office or outpatient clinic.
