Begins to project manage internally alongside Engineering manager to learn the ins and outs of project management at Brask.

Is considered a master at all tasks from the Brask skill set matrix for Junior Design Engineer.

Shows a thorough understanding of basic design knowledge and parts.

Learns Brask Inc.’s mission, core values, services, and operational procedures.

Begins to learn how to properly draft and design single components, with oversight, review and feedback from a Sr. Design Engineer.

Starts to gain a fundamental understanding of how ASME codes and customer specifications

1-2 years of related architectural experience

Salary range is between $50,000-$65,000 per annum and is commensurate with experience

Translate initial design concept into 3D renderings for client presentations

Prepare documents for filing with the NYC Department of Buildings and other government agencies

Conduct site visits for field measurements or verification

Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D software

Note: This is a Remote Position.

Establish, schedule, and guide roadmaps by combining data-domain driven design with model-driven engineering and architecture.

Assist in the development of conceptual and logical business models, and logical solutions and physical data models.

Interface with vendor technology/solutions, as well as appropriate involvement of OIT architecture, throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Assist in creating and maintaining data and solution architecture roadmaps, plans, and solutions.

Guide development teams in Data Quality with measurably improved data accuracy, completeness, consistency, reliability and currency.

Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and time management

Experience in furniture and millwork design; knowledge of Interiors details, millwork drawings is a plus

Should have strong skills with Revit 2022 (Revit Certification is a plus)

Associate or Architectural degree and minimum 3 years 3D Modeling experience in Revit and Rhinoceros 3D.

Excellent communication skills, fluency in written and spoken English – any other language is an asset

The ability to multi-task with experience of working on multiple projects at a time

2 - 5 years of experience in a design firm

Demonstrate architectural systems and construction documentation knowledge

Possess a fundamental understanding of architectural specifications, international building codes, life safety code and current ADA requirements

Exemplify a strong can-do attitude with excellent problem-solving skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Researches and evaluates project requirements about building codes in conjunction with cost estimates by contractors

3-5 years experience in an architectural design firm

Ability to work in a team environment and proficient in written and verbal communication skills

Working knowledge of commercial construction standards, building codes, materials, and processes

Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and shows attention to detail

Historic rehabilitation and multi-family experience, preferred

0 – 1 years of experience.
