Bachelor's degree in engineering, Management Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline

Software Version Control (Configuration Management) using Git

Reports to the Team Project Manager

Four (4) years of Object Oriented (OO) software development experience

Four (4) years of Agile experience

Knowledge of programming languages and process management methodology.

Good time management and organizational skills.

Minimum 2 years of proven experience working in the IT industry.

AWS experience is a big plus.

SQL skills for new feature testing and core app features.

Any testing experience required. Back-end / Data testing experience is a big plus.

General Software Design and Architecture Knowledge: Be able to design software solutions that satisfy client requirements and/or identified bugs by:

Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education

Leverage different design patterns to solve specific client requirements

Leverage existing software frameworks that speed up the development of software solutions to client requirements

Write code using test driven development to ensure quality and compliance with requirements

Vertically slicing functionality on the work to be done to deliver near production ready code.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Participation in strategic and tactical planning with Business Partners, Vendors, and organizational unit management;

Monitoring technical effort activities for adherence to schedules, milestones and deliverables; making recommendations to management on enterprise development practices, and tools;

Must have mid-level experience in J2EE enterprise software suite.

Strong technical knowledge in the areas of application system analysis, design, and programming of large-scale web-based distributed application system

+3 years of excellent core Java programming skills;

Work experience with CircleCI or other CI/CD tools

Experience in working with customers, partners and other vendors to create software solutions;

Very good English communications skills, both writing and speaking.

Work experience with Spring and databases.

Experience using Python and JavaScript frameworks.
