Strong knowledge of State and Federal compliance and FWA requirements for Medicare and Medicaid Programs

People leadership skills, including the ability to manage and coach team members

Fraud, Waste and Abuse Management

Perform and manage FWA investigations conducted by CareOregon staff, affiliates, and business partners.

Manage team and recommend team direction and goals in alignment with the organizational mission, vision, and values.

Maintains child welfare certification. Completes 20 hours of training yearly to include certifications that are required yearly.

Perform Red Cross shelter duty or other emergency shelter duty/services as directed.

Knowledge of a variety of office procedures, operation of office equipment such as computer.

3 to 12 months experience.

Uses pneumatic tube system, dumb waiter, and receives and transmits messages. Arranges for specimen transport.

Transcribes physician orders. Enters orders into entry system according to standard procedure. Utilizes down time procedures when indicated.

Equivalent to high school plus additional specialized training.

Ability to handle multiple priorities and effective communication.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Legal or related discipline, or equivalent work experience

At least 6 years’ experience independently managing internal corporate compliance investigations; and/or

At least 6 years’ experience working with legal, regulatory and compliance processes; and/or

At least 6 years’ experience coordinating internal investigations and managing investigative files
