Writing roughly eight articles a week of varying lengths and types, and producing daily morning briefs

Covering breaking news and deeper enterprise reporting in Chicago’s commercial real estate industry

Working with the global news teams on major projects and national series

Working with a local team of event producers and sales representatives to assist in the content of events

A commitment to seeking diverse stories and sourcing

At least 2-3 years of experience, preferably in health, science, or medical journalism.

Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to produce clean and engaging copy under tight deadlines.

Excellent research and fact-checking skills.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

Monitor and track health and medical breaking news, including public health issues, medical research, health care policies, and industry developments.

Write clear and concise articles, ensuring timely publication and adherence to our editorial guidelines.
