Knowledge of the laws, regulations, rules, policies, procedures, and methods governing Federal grants, cooperative agreements, and awards.

Knowledge of financial methods, procedures, and practices used in grants and cooperative agreements.

This position is located within the District of Columbia Government (District), Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR).

The work is sedentary and primarily performed in an office setting.

Pay Plan, Series and Grade:

Collective Bargaining Unit (Non- Union):

Collaborate and coordinate with federal, state and local government partners in HSEMD’s delivery of FEMA’s Public Assistance federal grant program.

Monitor subrecipient performance to ensure progress and compliance. Perform monitoring activities including desk reviews and site visits.

Develop specific reports and draft correspondence in response to verbal and written inquiries concerning the Public Assistance grant program.
