General Hourly Production Operator Jobs

Job Related Duties and Key Responsibilities

Responsible for operating Filler/Packaging/Box-forming/Palletizing, Forklift and all other production/manufacturing equipment.

Supply line with raw materials as needed.

Load/Unload packaged goods onto trailers.

Labeling of containers, following established process, customer and DOT requirements

Lean manufacturing (cell participation, “At Line” test and certification, visual display board updates, etc…)

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Washing equipment (tanks, pumps, piping and loading equipment

Loading (charging) various size tanks from 5 to 500 gallon capacity

Loading (Charging) moving and lifting gallon stock, drums and totes

A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a quick-service restaurant (QSR) and/or a full-service restaurant is required.

Previous restaurant, retail, and/or hospitality experience is required.

Prior experience training, developing, and leading others is required.

You must be hard-working, team-oriented, friendly, enthusiastic, honest, and have great customer skills.

Two years related bakery or production experience

Checks production work schedules for job assignment and work reporting time.

1 or more years production experience.

No educational prerequisite; however, must have demonstrated ability to read, comprehend and record information applicable to the job.

Sets up all equipment according to established standards (guides, cutters, speed, weight, etc.).

Ensures dough pieces are proper size and weight according to standards.

Ensures proper sheeting, molding and panning per production standards.

Sets speed on dough-flo per production standards.

Complete required paperwork and data entry

Self-motivated, focused on detail, people and service oriented, and possess good communication skills

2 or more years of manufacturing or warehouse experience

1 year of forklift experience

Operate mobile equipment and overhead cranes

Read and follow all safety rules and regulations, standard operating procedures and quality standards
