One and one-half (1½) years of directly related experience

Two (2) years’ work experience dealing directly with instrumentation/electrical related activities.

Two-year technical school degree, or equivalent experience or training (e.g. military)

Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively

Assist experienced Electrical Service Technicians with any/all residential electrical installation and repair projects

2 years’ electrical experience required (Helper)

Experience with Residential Customers a PLUS

Assist Electricians with installations of Generators and ATS switches

Running all conduit, wire, and everything necessary to complete project

Pay Ranges: $17.00-$25.00 (*Rate will vary based on years of experience and skill sets.)

2-4 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN ELECTRICAL FIELD

Knowledge of methods, materials, tools, safety practices and equipment used in the electrical trade

Assist in wiring and doing Midlevel to advanced electrical connections

Owns all basic Electrician Tools.

Maintains a clean staging area.

This is a paid apprenticeship that is tailored to emerging talent. This will not satisfy the requirements of state licenses.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Work 8 hour shifts, five days per week or 12 hour Shifts 3 to 4 days per week

Electrical, instrument or mechanical maintenance experience.

Basic computer proficiency and software knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Previous work history and/or military experience.

Experience with personal computers and/or DCS systems.

Four years work experience as a technician with increasing responsibility in a related industry may be substituted for the above requirement

Complete other tasks as requested by the Maintenance Manager

Graduation from an accredited Instrument Technician Program and two years' work experience as a technician in a related industry desirable

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills

Must be skilled in the use of hand and power driven tools

Must have excellent organizational skills.

Three to four years of facilities experience preferred.

Responding to routine and emergency service requests via on‑line work order, radio dispatch or as assigned by Group Leader/Supervisor.

Installing, securing and connecting fixtures and equipment, including switches, motors, transformers and computerized control devices.

Communicating with customer departments as needed to clarify job specifications and minimize any disruption of department services/operations.

The Licensed Electrical Instrument and Control Technician will be responsible for:

To qualify, you must have:

Demonstrates appropriate skills of a First Year Apprentice.

Maintains compliance with all OSHA, Company, and customer-specific safety requirements.

Experience: Enrollment in Faith Apprenticeship - Level 1

Travels to customer premises to install, maintain, and provide basic troubleshooting of electrical and specialty systems.

Experience working on and troubleshooting pneumatic control devices, burner management systems, flame detection, and computerized control (PLC/DCS) systems.

Use a computer in daily routine, including data entry into a computerized maintenance management system.

Experience working with flow control and flow measurement instrumentation in a chemical plant.

Working knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus

Must have a safe work attitude and practical knowledge of industrial safety standards

Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the requirement of a work visa

Ability to apply mathematical calculations regarding electrical requirements

Performs electrical wiring of external and internal signs consistent within specifications and electrical codes

Tests functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement

Installs electrical supporting systems such as brackets and tracks

Troubleshoots and repairs faulty equipment, systems, ballasts, and bulbs

Reviews plans and diagrams to ensure accuracy of electrical & assembly of signs

Uses the computerized maintenance management system to document work performed and maintain spare parts inventory.

Experienced at using data to solve complex equipment issues and providing solutions

Expected hourly rate of $38.00 to $46.10, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401K.

Good oral and written communication skills

O&M technician with experience in Control room operations, Experience in electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic instrumentation and controls

Perform maintenance and repair work on plant equipment.

Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.

Schematic reading & instrumentation calibration

Digital and Analog PLC program use in troubleshooting

Low and medium voltage cable routing, splicing and terminating

Basic mechanical activities (For example: Non-critical welding, laser alignment)

Perform walk-by inspections & diagnostic checks

Knowledge of electricity, voltage and current relationships for both AC and DC circuits.

Knowledge of Solar PV a plus.

Ability to successfully complete position training and testing requirements.

OSHA training and certification preferred.

Supervise and train apprentice electricians/coworkers to teach proper, safe use of tools and maintenance procedures; and

Perform other duties as required.
