This position is fully remote and will require occasional travel.

Experience working in a Finance transformational setting; driving change and managing competing priorities

8 years of relevant experience from public accounting and/or a large corporate environment

Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to adapt to change

In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and Statutory accounting

Managing a team of professionals and lead the collaboration and oversight of the effort supported by our outsource partner

Understand how data flows through the financial systems to the accounting function, planning appropriately for changes and prioritizing and implementing enhancements

∙ Support Chief Financial Officer with management of Carriage's SEC registered investment advisory (RIA) subsidiary;

∙ Prepare reports for executive management, Board of Directors and SEC financial reporting.

∙Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or other business-related field; MBA or CFA preferred;

∙7+ years’ experience in securities or credit analysis within a financial institution or an investment company

∙Knowledge of financial statements, credit documents and SEC reports; ability to analyze financial models;

∙Experience working with Bloomberg terminal;
