1+ year professional driving experience

Transportation of field dead chicken/turkey in an efficient, safe and timely manner.

What you will do - Essential Responsibilities

Facilitate the completion of Home Delivery transactions

Interact with customers, other associates and team members to provide outstanding internal and external customer service.

Perform other duties as assigned by management

Short waiting period for full benefits: Only 30 Days

3-5 years previous experience is ideal

Must be available to meet scheduling requirements which may include additional hours without advance notice

Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and a post offer physical.

Two days off every week - Friday and Saturday

One or more years experience driving trucks preferred

Pre and post-trip assigned vehicles in accordance to established procedures.

Must have a valid Class A driver’s license.

Must have a valid medical card.

Must have an acceptable DMV record.

Be able to pass drug and alcohol screening.

Completing preventive maintenance requirements; troubleshooting malfunctions; maintaining safe vehicle conditions.

A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).

At least a year and half of over the road driving experience.

Knowledge, comprehension, and compliance with DOT rules/regulations.

Demonstrate good judgment and problem solving skills as well as being an organized record keeper.

Demonstrated organization and accuracy skills; self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple projects/tasks with competing deadlines.

Ability to meet DOT-mandated medical qualification requirements

What you will do - Essential responsibilities

Carry out daily equipment inspections to ensure our transport operations run smoothly and safely

Maintain all necessary DOT logs and documentation

Valid state-issued commercial driver's license Class A (CDL)

Driving record with no more than 6 penalty points within the last three years

Paid Vacation and PTO time, Health benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401k

Pay increased for Pneumatic experience

6 months of Class A driving experience

Pneumatic experience not required; we will train.

Starting pay $21.00 per hour plus overtime ($31.50)

Doubles, triples & tankers endorsements required (T and N)

12 months of verifiable Class A license in the past 10 years (and driving experience) compliant with all regulatory requirements

Ensure a positive experience for clients\customers by having courteous interactions with them.

Work according to an assigned schedule. Report any problems or issues with facilities.

File and retrieve documents from company filing systems.

Operate various equipment and machines, adjusting one or more variables to achieve efficiency.

Delivery Driver, Class A Driver, CDL A Driver, Truck Driver

Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)

Complete daily record of hours of service and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state and company requirements.

6-12 months of commercial driving experience

1+ years commercial driving experience

Onboard computer and electronic log system experience (i.e. PeopleNet)

Hand-held point of delivery scanning system experience (i.e. POD)

Flatbed experience is not required; We will train

Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:

9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR

2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR

5 years’ experience within the last 10 years

Performs warehouse duties as required by management such as picking, packing, operating a forklift, order picker, etc.

Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management.

Must have 2 years of tractor trailer driving experience

Employment verifications will be completed to verify driver has adequate experience and to verify driving history with former employers.

Will be shuttling trailers within a 3 mile radius from warehouse to customer location.

Maintains driver daily logs, trip reports, and other documents as required.
