Apprentice Fleet Equipment Mechanic Jobs

Two (2) years of supervisory/management responsibilities (This experience may be included in the required experience listed above.)

Bachelor's degree in a business/public administration or management field.

Five (5) years of experience in:

Valid driver’s license with good driving record

Successfully completed all the requirements of the Fleet Equipment Mechanic Program within a thirty (30) month time frame.

Location: Various within North-West Indiana

Perform preventative maintenance in accordance with Company procedures and schedules.

Diagnose, repair, and maintain various types of fleet equipment systems and components:

Electrical/electronic systems such as: starting/charging, computer controlled, and lighting/instrumentation systems.

Brake systems such as: air, electric, hydraulic, anti-lock, and emergency systems.
