They must be able to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise. They must also be able to monitor system performance and security, and ensure that the system is secure and available to users. • Extensive knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of system administration and security
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
• Ability to configure and maintain system hardware and software
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and Perl
• Knowledge of network protocols and services
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration
