Overview A SAS Engineer is a professional who is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using SAS software. They are also responsible for creating and managing data warehouses and data marts. SAS Engineers are expected to have a strong understanding of data analysis, data mining, and data warehousing. Detailed Job Description A SAS Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using SAS software. They must have a strong understanding of data analysis, data mining, and data warehousing. They must be able to create and manage data warehouses and data marts. They must be able to develop and maintain SAS programs, scripts, and macros. They must be able to design and develop reports and dashboards using SAS software. They must be able to troubleshoot and debug SAS programs. They must be able to create and maintain documentation for SAS programs. Job Skills Required• Strong knowledge of SAS software
• Knowledge of data analysis, data mining, and data warehousing
• Ability to create and manage data warehouses and data marts
• Ability to develop and maintain SAS programs, scripts, and macros
