Remote Permitting Coordinator Jobs

·Bachelor’s degree or higher in biology, ecology, natural resource management, or related field

·Experience as a project manager and mentor for technical staff.

·Minimum 5 years of professional experience

·Knowledge of locally sensitive plant and/or wildlife species and communities

·Experience preparing aquatic resource delineation reports and both federal and state permit applications.

·Able to work in a virtual office environment and navigate to remote field locations.

Research requirements for STRs inn various counties

Coordinating safety inspections for STR permit requirements

Coordinating checklists for STR permit requirements

File necessary documentation for STR permits

Setting aggressive reminders of dates and filing as soon as available

File zoning, building and related code information and application forms

Project management certification is an asset

1-3 years of relevant work experience in project management, environmental permitting and/or regulatory compliance

Develop the training and education materials for Baffinland employees to ensure proper communication of regulatory requirements, as required.

Strong communication and organizational skills

Support the approval of major project expansions by coordinating the preparation of key permits, environmental assessments and field programmes
