Minimum of three (3) years animal handling experience is required.
Basic Animal Control Officer and Euthanasia Technician certifications are required within 120 days of employment.
Knowledge of animal handling, behavior, identification, rabies laws and animal ordinances.
Previous experience in an animal control/animal shelter/boarding/veterinary setting.
Previous experience in a law enforcement/dispatcher capacity.
