Review and analyze changes to state and federal laws pertaining to benefits, and reports necessary or suggested changes to management.

Strong analytical and time management skills.

Knowledge of benefit contract language.

A minimum of 3-5 years related benefits or employee benefit administration include LOAs, Workers Compensation experience.

Evaluate and compare existing company benefits with those of other employers by analyzing other plans, surveys, and other sources of information.

Excellent communication and organization skills.

Provide guidance to the extended People Experience team, and third-party vendors, on benefits administration responsibilities

Create and deliver benefits training and education materials to employees, managers and business partners as needed

Prior experience managing employee healthcare and retirement benefit programs for U.S populations.

Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation with respect to benefit plans, including but not limited to ERISA, COBRA, and ACA

Design and implement robust benefit programs that align with Zoom’s values and comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Manage the relationships with brokers and vendors in the United States, Canada, and any future LATAM entities

Drive employee engagement in benefit programs through strategic initiatives around communication, education, and branding

Ensure benefit programs are in compliance with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements and laws

Current working knowledge of HR and benefit related laws, regulations and standard practices

Self-starter with strong analytical skills and decision-making capabilities. Detail-oriented

Provide in-depth analysis, review and presentation of financial reports in order to design and implement effective and innovative benefit plans/programs

Responsible for the development of financial models to accurately determine the ROI on benefit projects

Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) designation or other related certification a plus, but not required

Support personal development: Continuing education and professional certification reimbursement

Lead new or existing benefit program implementation and enhancement efforts, including annual Open Enrollment and wellness

Ensure that employee benefit inquiries/concerns are addressed/resolved timely and accurately

Work collaboratively with the HRBP, Payroll and HCM teams to ensure benefit payments, deductions and contributions are processed timely and accurately

Monitor and approve benefit-related Workday business processes, and troubleshoot system issues (including vendor integration file data or transmission errors)

Strong project management and consulting skills with keen attention to detail

Manage relationships and contracts with benefits brokers, carriers, and plan vendors

Manage and administer LATAM and Canada benefits programs including health, risk, retirement, time-off, and perks/allowance programs.

Experience with international benefits administration, focusing on LATAM and Canada

Effectively communicate with employees and leaders to ensure benefit programs are fully understood and appropriately valued

Budget and track costs in partnership with our Finance team

Communicate effectively and demonstrate a consultative approach to benefits education.

What we offer Benefits Educator Employees:

Educating and enrolling individuals in employer’s benefits packages via individual telephonic and/or face-to-face meetings.

Completing employee benefit elections using benefits administration systems, carrier platforms, and our proprietary Benefits Educator portal system.

Attending virtual and in-person training on clients’ benefits, initiatives, and technology needs.

Manage multiple technology applications simultaneously after minimal instruction.

Partner with internal benefits team and management to plan strategy for annual open enrollment.

Minimum 5 years benefit administration and management required.

Experience with Workday, or other HR/benefits systems is preferred.

Develop benefits materials to ensure and enhance employee understanding of benefits, and claims submission in coordination with vendors.

Coordinate with vendors to compile quarterly benefits information and reconciles pursuant to Wage Determination Letter obligations based upon an employee's location.

3 years supervisory experience preferred.
