Weekend Dispatcher Jobs

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for PART-TIME WEEKEND Dispatchers to act as a communication point for emergency and non-emergency calls. You will receive requests, transmit messages, and track technicians. The ideal candidate must be primarily an excellent communicator and able to remain calm and composed, especially in emergency situations. You must be able to multi-task as well as take the appropriate. The goal is to enable different parties to communicate well by ensuring the accurate and timely transmission of information.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive emergency and non-emergency calls/emails and record significant information.

• Receive and dispatch service requests.
• Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions.
• Use phone or computer to send technicians or other field units to appropriate locations.
• Monitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule.
• Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance.

• Receive customer phone requests and provide correct up-to date responses to customers.
• Assist Client Management with customer escalations by providing prompt replies and scheduling emergency service.
• Enter data in a computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities, and other information.
• Provide field units with information about service requests, site history, material locations, and service requirements.
• Purchase materials needed for service requests on technician's behalf, ensuring purchase logs are updated and turned in.

• Monitor and update the status of work request within their territory, including but not limited to quoting, ordering material, and pricing tickets needed.
• Ensure service tickets are updated after technician's have completed repairs.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Fast typing with experience in data entry
• Proven experience as dispatcher or relevant position
• Tech-savvy with knowledge of relevant methods (CAD)
• Knowledge of procedures and guideline for emergency situations
• Proficient in English (oral and written)

• Active listener with excellent communication skills
• High school diploma
• Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
• Sound judgment and critical thinking

This position will have flexible shifts between 8-12 hours from 8AM-10PM CST.

Advanced Climate Solutions, a Helios company, compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $19/hour in our lowest geographic market up to $24/hour in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. ACS's compensation may also include annual bonus, commissions, equity, sign-on payments, as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
