Job Summary

• Leads and coordinates activities of workers concerned with receiving, storage inventory, issuing, supplies, tools, equipment and parts.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Able to identify parts through a combination of visual and part number recognition.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Observe applicable Safety, Health, and Environmental rules and guidelines.
• Attend and participate in training opportunities and seminars relevant to this position.
• Reads all customer orders that require modular plastic components or molded sprockets, proceeds to pick these items and distribute them to the areas for assembly, shipping, quality checks, etc.
• Provides current inventory count on items upon request of supervisor, customer service, etc.
• Support the vision, mission and guiding principles of the company.
• Helps other departments when/where needed.
• Palletizes and stocks received material into designated storage rack/shelf.
• Uses all tools/machinery needed to perform above tasks, including any of the following: standard sit down forklift, pallet jacks, carts, weight counting scales, hand trucks, stock picker and narrow aisle lift.
• Receives unused product from production area and restocks material in designated storage rack/shelf.
• Adhere to appropriate company operating procedures, benefit rules, employment policies and safety policies.
• Use appropriate PPE as required.
• Returns product not in compliance to appropriate department for correction.

Qualifications And Skills

• Required - Ability to mentor and train others.
• Required - Ability to solve problems creatively and make decisions independently.
• Required - Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• In addition, an individual must be proficient in the following warehouse duties and responsibilities:
• Required - Ability to successfully communicate and interact with a variety of departments.
• Required - Three to five years related experience and training
• Required - Ability to keep a positive attitude
• Issuing Material
• Stocking – internal shipments (after QA approval)
• Required - Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Required - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, and percent.
