Warehouse Associate Jobs

LINQM is looking for a Warehouse Associate.

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Packaging Line Supervisor, this position is responsible for performing a variety of general labor duties in the packaging area such as grading and stacking brick into monorail boxes as directed by supervisor, toss brick that does not meet quality standards onto grog for recycling. This position supports the packaging department in all areas of the plant and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: General

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• All other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the company or its designated representative
• Load and unload dry tumbler
• Stack brick in the monorail brick boxes
• Clean under the monorail platform or around kiln cars or conveyor belts
• Stock paper and boards into jigs
• Add shrink bag to brick cubes
• Toss brick that does not meet quality standards onto grog
• Move down the packaging line one station at a time as the crew moves
• Move the kiln car up to access the brick hacks as the crew runs out of brick
• Hammer stuck brick
• Regular attendance is required
• Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected
• Maintains work area according to company specifications for cleanliness and safety
• Grade and stack brick into the monorail boxes
• Pull pallets into jigs

• Regular attendance is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Must be able to communicate effectively with peers, customers and superiors.
• Ability to follow simple instructions
• Requires on-the-job training to be able to perform duties
• Must be able to speak effectively, read, write and have basic math skills
