Job Description
Mix Talent is hiring a VP Business Development/Exec/Senior Director with a leading organization (this position in remote)!
You will be responsible for sales growth, ownership from new business prospecting, pre-call planning, face to face client meetings, and solution development through a signed SOW. Responsible for developing new sales opportunities within pharmaceutical, biotech and device companies, AOR’s, pharma/life sciences consulting firms, alliance partner organizations as well as other healthcare clients.
Additional responsibilities:
  • Recognize/anticipate brand needs that fit with core capabilities; Research and understand client needs, product offerings, competitive threats and most significant issues/challenges
  • Responsible for development and delivery of client proposals including working in conjunction with pricing team to gather key information necessary for pricing
  • Build robust pipeline of new sales opportunities
  • Meet/exceed leading indicator metrics (targeting, frequency, message delivery, admin objectives)
  • Meet/exceed assigned sales quota through Identification and prioritization of key client targets based on strategic goals and objectives
  • Lead development of offering/model to address client needs (collaborate with model design team)
  • Actively manage the sales cycle including prospecting, meetings, proposal development, proposal delivery, and pipeline management
  • Secure signed contract, work order or master services agreement
  • Command a strong understanding of the clients’ overall brand marketing plans, therapeutic categories, and marketing objectives
  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitive landscape
  • Deliver capabilities presentation to appropriate targets
Requirements:
  • Prefer experience in oncology, rare disease, autoimmune disease, and specialty pharmaceuticals
  • Experience within business development of technical services in life sciences and pharmaceutical industries (10+ years)
  • Bachelor's in related field
  • Master’s in Business Administration or PhD in the Sciences preferred
  • Previous experience with proven sales growth within senior or VP Business Development role
