Country Manager - USA | Vice President | Full Desk/360 Recruitment

Where? Open to location. Preferably eastern or central time zone. Austin, Raleigh, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Durham, Tampa, Dallas, San Antonio, Houston etc.

Salary? Up to $175k base with an OTE of $350k | Shares/Equity on offer.

When? Looking to hire in the next 1-6 months.

The company

This magnificent client has been going for 10 + years in the UK and has established a workforce of 60+ employees across 3 offices. They’re specialists in tech/data recruitment and have had year on year growth since the beginning.

They have ambitions to open multiple US offices over the next 4-5 years and build a workforce of 100 stateside. They are building to sell the business at the end of this time and the successful candidate would be looking at circa a $2m exit.

The role

This role will be their first US based hire and you will be tasked with winning business, bringing in clients/roles, and filling those roles with the best candidates in your network and in the market to begin with. Once you have had some success, you will then be tasked with building a team and office around you of full desk/360 recruiters. The plan is to have you be a billing manager but mainly focusing on mentoring, developing, and creating a successful team whilst making a few placements of your own here and there.

The ideal candidate

They’re looking for the following experience and attributes:

• Experience in perm and contract tech recruitment.
• Ambitious, energetic, hungry to succeed.
• A tremendous salesperson with influence and an established network.
• Open to an American citizen or a British/Irish person in the US or who would like to relocate from the UK/Ireland.
• Entrepreneurial mindset.
• Experience of scaling teams of 5-10 + people.
• 10 + years’ recruitment agency experience in a full desk/360 recruitment role within the technology sector.
