Job Description

Part time schedule: 16 hours a week.

Position Summary: Provides installation of telehealth equipment to patients and families and works in collaboration with the Telehealth Program Coordinator and health care team.

Reports to: Telehealth Program Coordinator

Mileage: Reimbursed for mileage every pay period

Functions & Responsibilities:

  • = Assists in quality improvement practices.
  • = Confirms date, time and equipment necessary for telehealth installation and installs equipment on date and time determined.
  • = Performs other related duties of a similar nature and complexity as directed.
  • = Reports difficulty implementing telehealth equipment installation to Telehealth Program Coordinator.
  • = Demonstrates spirit of cooperation and teamwork, and maintains professional working relationships.
  • = Completes all paperwork in a timely and legible fashion.
  • = Assumes responsibility for equipment during transport of equipment to and from patient’s home.
  • = Confirms date, time and equipment necessary for telehealth discharge and removes equipment on date and time determined.
  • = Attends educational programs and in-services to meet Network service needs and to develop professional growth.
  • = Insures safe handling and proper care of equipment.
  • = Instructs patient/caregiver in proper use of equipment.
  • = Cleans equipment according to procedure, notifies Telehealth Program Coordinator of any equipment damaged or malfunctioning.
  • = Requests instructions if uncertain of installation procedure.
  • = Troubleshoots equipment.
  • = Utilizes appropriate interpersonal skills during the installation process.
  • = Upholds the compliance objectives and policies and procedures of the Foundation and Subsidiaries.
  • = Adheres to Network infection control procedures.
  • = Confirms that equipment is properly installed and results are successfully transmitted.

Skills and Knowledge:

Education

  • = High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience Preferred

  • = Minimum 1 year general work experience.
  • = Experience using computers, phones and cable technology.
  • = Home care experience preferred.
