Job Description
  • Comply with all security policies and procedures, to ensure that the highest level of system and data confidentiality, integrity and availability are maintained.
  • Support the implementation of new technologies to continually simplify the environment while improving security and performance.
  • Support existing server infrastructure in an on-call capacity as part of a team rotation.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and operating system problems and suggest possible performance tuning.
  • Responsible for the administration, installation, configuration and maintenance of any of the following operating systems, Linux/UNIX, Windows, and VMware operating systems on physical servers and virtual environments.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware related server problems (failed disks, network cards, CPU, memory, etc.).
  • Interact with multiple internal customers and external vendors and partners to provide quality customer service.
  • Implement defined changes to existing hardware and operating system infrastructure including patches, users, file systems and kernel parameters.
  • Maintain and update operating system versions and toolsets to improve security and stability.
Requirements
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with the latest version Windows Server and VMware.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Systems Administrator (in a data center/warehouse environment) is a plus to have
  • SharePoint Administration
  • AD GPO (Group Policies)
  • Experience with DNS/DHCP Services
  • Knowledge of data encryption methods and practices.
  • Education or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field.
  • Operational experience with a multi-domain Active Directory environment.
  • Experience with deploying Window Server OS.
