Role

Cricket Wireless is looking for a Professional Systems Administrator to join our Cricket IT Retail Operations team focusing on the support of Point-of-Sale related technology in our brick-and-mortar retail channel. This person’s primary responsibility is to provide in-store support of software and hardware used by Authorized Retailers to service Cricket customers. The Professional Systems Administrator plays a key role in supporting retail operations by helping ensure systems and workstations are updated, secure, and available when needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer cloud-based tools/applications used to manage enterprise hardware
• Aid in the development of technology operating procedures
• Must be able to travel 50% of time focusing on the western US store locations.
• Update, install, and configure software on desktops, tablets, routers, and other hardware used in retail environments
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on software/hardware capabilities and improvements needed to maintain high level of security and availability
• Optimize desktop and tablet performance by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions
• Triage and resolve complex hardware, software, and network related issues

Position Qualifications

• CompTIA Network+ certification preferred
• Preferred Bachelor of Science degree in any Technical, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields
• Minimum of 3-5 years system administration experience
