Job Description
DayTwo is the leading microbiome-based precision nutrition company. DayTwo provides a food as medicine solution to help members manage their blood sugar levels based on their unique profile of their gut microbiome.
DayTwo members can eat what they love with small modifications and achieve balanced blood sugar levels while also reducing medications. Our unique app allows members the ability to create meals that reduce the incidence of high blood glucose levels and allows for better management of Type 2 Diabetes, as well as overall health.
We are seeking an experienced and collaborative System Administrator to support our the DayTwo departments and team members.
General/ Position Summary
The System Administrator performs overall information systems planning, implementation and administrative procedures in a variety of IT functional areas for the US offices of DayTwo. This position provides operational support, maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimum utilization of IT resources. This position will also be involved in Hardware/Software/Vender selection, security, training, user access reviews, coordination and scheduling of IT initiatives. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently while still collaborating with & supporting team members across all channels.
Responsibilities
General
  • Participate in weekly IT Syncs
  • Participate in strategic insights and planning for company growth regarding IT needs
  • Conduct ongoing communication and sync with IT Manager (remote)
Security
  • Work closely with CISO for planning, evaluation, deployment and maintenance of security tools and procedures
  • Design, implement & maintain user access management systems (i.e. JAMF & Intune)
Ongoing
  • Onboarding and offboarding of US employees
  • Ability to work, prioritize and make decisions independently in a fast-paced production environment
  • Troubleshooting and support for all IT related issues / requirement (In-person, Remotely).
  • Software Licenses management
  • Handles support requests and procedures
  • Maintain records of all equipment purchased and usage
  • Track all open issues and maintain SLAs for turn around on ticket timeframes for issue resolution
  • Provide on-going support to DayTwo US employees per SLA (urgent\high\medium\low cases)
  • Handle exceptional needs e.g. office move, compliance needs
  • Procurement, provisioning, and maintenance of laptops & equipment for US employees
  • Manage Daytwo governance and compliances related to IT (Hardware, Software and Services).
  • Determine ongoing ticket problems based on type and put permanent fixes in place to prevent recurring issues
  • Ongoing improvement and maintenance of IT systems
  • Installation, upgrades and configuration of hardware, software, systems, networks, printers,
Requirements
  • Knowledge of Audits and Compliances.
  • A technical, logical thought process
  • Experience in system configuration, Microsoft OS, MAC OS, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365 suite, Okta, Jamf, Intune
  • Good understanding for IT & Information Security policies.
  • Good knowledge of office IT infrastructure.
  • An ability to stick to strict deadlines
  • 2/2+ years of experience

  • A keen eye for detail
  • Sound understanding of software, hardware, and communications.
  • Sound knowledge of IT Asset lifecycle, IT procurement and billing process.
