What will you be doing?


This role is responsible for leading a team managing all supply chain related activity for a fast moving plastic injection moulding facility, from delivery management to finished product distribution. You'll be expected to managed all stock and inventory for the site, ensuring line feed is maintained, whilst material flow and warehouse utilization are optimized. You'll ensure a continuous improvement mindset is implemented across your operation and will lead lean/CI events to constantly evolve the operation to be best in class. You'll be working closely with the wider operations a team to plan, schedule and deliver all required materials and components to ensure production volumes are delivered to the customer without delay or interruption. You'll also be responsible for the ongoing development of your team, through regular coaching, mentoring and formal one to one appraisals.

What do you need to bring to the table?


To be successful in this role it's expected that you'll be able to demonstrate the majority of the following skills and experience:


✅Proven experience in leading teams and process creation in a manufacturing supply chain environment - plastic injection moulding experience is highly beneficial but not essential

✅Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and communicate across all levels, both internally and externally

✅Well versed in managing a supply chain that includes international suppliers

✅Excellent Lean/Kaizen/Continuous Improvement skills

✅Track record of optimizing inventory, improving accuracy and reducing stock holding

✅Willing and able to be on site in Anniston full time - a relocation package is available to those outside of the area that are prepared to move for the role

✅Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or a related field is strongly preferred but not necessarily essential if you can demonstrate a successful track record of delivery in comparable roles/companies
