We are currently looking for an energetic and self-driven Staff Accountant for our corporate division in Addison, IL. If you are interested here is what the position is all about.

Essential Functions:

• You find yourself performing other general accounting duties
• You will create general ledger entries and prepare monthly reporting related to expenses and inventory
• You will assist and provide information to independent auditors at year end
• You will be responsible for monthly fixed asset additions, disposals, and depreciation expense using fixed asset accounting software
• You will be working closely with the management teams to deliver financial reporting and analysis such as sales and margin reports, budgets and account reconciliations to help them make critical decisions

Experience, Education and Skills:

• Ability to multitask and reevaluate priorities when necessary
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, advanced formulas, VLookups, etc
• Great attention to detail; pristine accuracy and presentation of data
• Strong business acumen with the ability to effectively and independently problem solve
• 2+ years of general accounting experience
