Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree (B.A.)/MBA & Four to seven years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Working knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
· Ability to apply government regulations related to benefit plans (ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ADA, and FMLA).
· ADP Comp Solutions knowledge required.
· Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds. This includes having the ability to influence management when appropriate.
· Able to champion new ideas, manage change, and execute on action plans.
· Experience in all HR concentration areas such as benefits; compensation; workforce planning and employment; employee relations; occupational health, safety, and security; strategic management; employee development; and training.
· Human Resources Professional Certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM).
Key Skills
· Strong organizational development background responsible for managing compensation, creating policies, benefit plans, employee engagement, Team Effectiveness, Coaching and Culture.
· Foundational understanding of HR analytics and experience with HR systems & tools is critical.
· Strong communication and influencing skills.
· Strong project management and Excel skills are desired.
· Must be able to travel within assigned regions as needed and to other locations as needed.
- Strong stakeholder management skills
· Proficiency working with remote management.
Key Responsibilities
· Develops and administers company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with stated corporate objectives and federal and state legal requirements.
· Responsible for the consistent application and legal adherence to all laws, policies and regulations.
- Understanding of and ability to integrate benefits into a total compensation offering to employees.
· Promotes positive employee relations through design, communication, and interpretation of human resources policies and programs.
· Coordinates recruiting and retention strategies and succession planning process.
· Coordinates exit interview process and communication of findings to management.
· Analyzes data, prepares reports, and makes recommendations on a variety of human resources issues.
· Coordinate’s training programs, personal and career development, performance appraisal process, compensation systems, diversity, and benefit programs.
· Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
· Coordinates employee-relations activities and programs including but not limited to employee counseling, interpretation of policies, new employee orientation, and employee recognition programs.
· Reviews employee relation issues and recommends appropriate responses to management.
- Act as point of contact and Program Manager for people tools, processes, programs, or projects.
- Conduct investigations and manage ER cases in coordination with the Employee Relations and with the Legal departments.
- Collaborate with HRBPs and partner teams on key HR areas/projects that are critical for the site/Region, such as introduction of new policies or benefits.
- Analyze data and observations across the organization, highlighting trends and recommending/driving solutions as appropriate.
