Job Description
Responsibilities


  • Perform analysis of the operating statement, balance sheet and other financial reports
  • Be called upon to be the department 'subject matter expert' on specific areas of accounting applications or functions, such as banking, revenue, medical expense and/or specific lines of business
  • Be responsible for implementing, and complying with, System Financial Compliance and Control Policies including Technical Accounting Bulletins
  • Prepare or review monthly account reconciliations, and journal entries
  • Be responsible for the preparation and review of Health Plan financial statements


100% remote work for residents who live in the States of Oregon and Washington.


Required Qualifications For This Position Include


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
  • 3+ years progressive experience in the health care industry


Preferred Qualifications For This Position Include


  • Coursework/Training: Graduate-level education -OR- a combination of equivalent education & experience
  • Leadership experience
