This position is an integral member of the Development Department at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West, a world-class museum located in Cody, Wyoming. Together, we find and steward members and donors to help raise a substantial portion of the Center's budget each year.
Primary Job Duties

• Plan and execute occasional receptions for donors and prospective donors
• Work with representatives from other organizations to ensure Patrons Ball is integrated into the larger week-long Cody event, Rendezvous Royale
• Assist with other Development activities as needed
• Assist with arrangements for tri-annual board of trustee meetings
• Secure sponsorships for the ball
• Plan and execute all aspects of our signature gala, Patrons Ball

This position does not directly supervise anyone, however working with and motivating both colleagues and volunteers is part of the job. You must be independent and self-motivated, and also able to ask for direction and help when necessary.
