About the Role

The Software QA Engineer 2 will be responsible for the design, development, and execution of application specific functional and regression tests used to measure the quality, robustness, performance, supportability, and usefulness of these products in our customer's semiconductor FABS.

Key Responsibilties:

• Responsible for developing test cases, test plans and test metrics of the tool operating software
• Providing all stakeholders with appropriate regression reports in a timely manner
• Responsible for the design, development, and execution of application specific functional and regression tests used to measure the quality, robustness, and performance of tool operating software
• Start the foundation and framework for automated testing
• Work closely with the software application developers and product marketing team to help deliver timely product releases that effectively meet our customer's needs

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of capital tool testing or operations.
• Experience in third party/open source automation testing programs
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in white and black box methodology
• Technical degree in computer science/computer engineering it equivalent field is required
• Experience in software life cycle and testing methodology
• Testing experience for a semiconductor equipment manufacturer, a tool owner/operator in a FAB, Medical equipment testing, Robotics testing experience.
