Site Operations Manager Jobs

Southwest Waste Services is Southwest Florida’s premier recycling and collection company. Offering full-service waste hauling, disposal, recycling, and site work services.

We are looking for a Yard Site Operations Manager. This is a hands-on role that includes maintaining a Transfer Recycling Station, improving performance, processing inbound and outbound acceptable construction and demolition debris, ensuring safety and procedures compliance. To mentor your team members, find ways to increase quality of material hauling and profit as well as customer service and implement best practices across all levels.

Responsibilities

Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, safe and cost-effective way.

Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee stations efficiency.

Formulate strategic and operational objectives.

Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability.

Manage budgets and forecasts.

Perform quality controls and monitor Processing of material and oversee maintenance of Equipment.

Requirements And Skills

Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role

Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management

Experience budgeting and forecasting

Familiarity with business and financial principles

Excellent communication skills

Leadership ability

Outstanding organizational skills

Heavy Equipment Operation (Excavator, Loader, Skid Steer, etc.) preferred

Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field

Waste and Recycling industry and/or CDL A or B experience is a plus.
