Job Description
The Senior Management Consultant will play a highly visible role in supporting strategy execution for our Federal client. The role will work directly with the responsible leaders to implement a strategic program management approach that will provide the governance structure and discipline required to help manage the Information Security Division of a Federal agency’s operations and make it successful, with a focus on strategic outcomes, process improvement, technology integration, information management, risk management, performance management and training. As such, this role will require a high degree of professionalism and is an excellent opportunity for an innovative and strategic thinker with strong communication and project management skills. This position is remote with DC Metro candidates preferred. This position supports a Federal contract requiring US citizenship for consideration.


Responsibilities:

  • Drives management of milestones and scorecard for groups supported.
  • Manages strategy documents.
  • Advisory support in the areas of mission integration, benefits and results management, and performance management.
  • Performance measurement development, assessments, tracking and reporting, and using that information to feed planning coordination in order to drive efficiencies.
  • Projects and program planning across all aspects of Information Security Operations throughout the Office and Division.
  • Synthesize multiple sources of relevant Information technology trends, research and intelligence with client data to ensure IT infrastructure and information systems are properly secured.
  • Work 1:1 with leaders to identify top priority strategic items and identify meaningful goals and business objectives.
  • Help run leadership and stakeholder meetings for offices and divisions supported. Coordinate with leader in drafting agenda and materials actively participate in driving action items and follow up.
  • Across the Office and Division.
  • Support the implementation of a standard, scalable, and repeatable approach to strategic program management and mission alignment and integration, including a sound governance and engagement process to manage organizational programs and to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Developing, implementing and monitoring strategic plans, programs, policies, processes, systems and procedures to achieve goals, objectives and work standards.
Manage a small team of consultants responsible for:
  • Program and project management support
  • Developing program policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines
  • Continuous improvement, automation, streamlining and optimization, enhancing processes and operations.
  • Conducting performance measurement development, assessments, tracking and reporting learning, training, and knowledge management
  • Communications and marketing services

Required Qualifications:

  • This position supports a Federal contract which requires that all employees and job applicants hold US Citizenship at the time of application.
  • PMP preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage client engagements, client relationships, and provide guidance to teams, owning the responsibility for the quality of the engagement.
  • Strong management and communication skills. The ability to bring together all stakeholders and persuade senior executives to act on the given advice.
  • Technology background, which may include cyber and information security, cloud computing, data & analytics, e-commerce, and platform technologies with experience across the systems development life cycle with experience in different project phases.
  • Business Acumen: Strong analytical skills and a high capacity for conceptual thinking, proven by a high level of academic achievements. Ability to develop leading-edge business models, frameworks for analysis, and long-term business strategies that maximize shareholder value.
  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
  • 7+ years of consulting experience in combination with IT industry experiences with at least 5+ years at a project lead level in a Federal contracting environment.
