Senior Accountant

We are looking for a driven individual who is dedicated to our company’s success. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely financial records. The Senior Accountant reports to the Controller.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead process improvement activities related to all accounting functions as required.
  • Continuously align with GRIP goals and encompass a strong focus on driving a Continuous Improvement Culture.
  • Perform month-end closing process and consolidations.
  • Reconcile inter-company account balances.
  • Other related accounting duties as assigned.
  • Works with the accounts payable/accounts receivable analyst to assist in transactions and reporting.
  • Assists the Controller in the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.
  • Maintain reconciliation from Metrc to Leaflink to Quickbooks.
  • Prepare weekly labor reports for submission.
  • Lead the Annual Financial Statement audit with the Cannabis Regulatory Agency

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, or related programs.
  • A willingness and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • 3-5 years of work-related experience.
  • Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting functions.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent Excel skills required.
  • 4-year accredited accounting degree.
  • Adapt to different accounting software systems.

Job Details

  • $90,000-$100,000 salary based on experience. Opportunities for advancement
  • Full-time, in-office permanent employment
  • Schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Peak times may require a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
