Puget Sound Energy - Senior SAP BW/BI HANA Developer

Location: Hybrid (only onsite once a month or every other month)

Day to day:

This data engineering team at Puget Sound Energy is seeking a consultant to assist with multiple projects within the SAP BW environment. This individual will attend workshops, partner with both on shore and offshore teams, and determine the work that needs to be done both on the reporting side and the BW/ HANA side. They will determine ETL, do individual development work, and collect requirements from all internal parties. Experience within finance/BPC is desired and a background in utilities modeling (ISU) is a plus for this position. The team works in APT and SQL, however APT programming experience is not required to be considered for the position. Exposure to AWS is another plus but not required for consideration. This individual will be modeling and analyzing 50% of their time and developing 50%.

Must Haves:

• SQL and ABAP development experience
• 5+ years of experience in SAP BW 7.4 or higher as a developer
• Hands-on experience working with Native Hana development (Calculation views, stored procedure development, etc.)
• Configuration and development of BW modelling, ETL and reporting
• Finance/ BPC experience and/ or utilities modeling (ISU)
• Bachelors degree
