Retail Merchandiser - Electronics - Part Time

Our team of Merchandising Specialists visit big-box retailers to service, build, troubleshoot and maintain cutting-edge promotional displays for our innovative clients such as Microsoft(r), Dyson(r), Vizio(r), Nespresso(r), Bose(r), among many others! SCHEDULING: Average of 15-20 hours per week; please note that weekly hours will fluctuate higher or lower some weeks per business need and time of year Retail visits are self-scheduled and completed Mondays through Fridays between 8AM and 5PM Visits are conducted at a variety of retailers typically within a 30-40 mile radius MAIN DUTIES: Conduct routine, visual maintenance assignments (Level 1) such as product stocking/placement, setting product to planogram, updating signage, auditing inventory, tidying up a display, basic resets, endcaps, etc. Engage in more technically involved tasks (Level 2) such as electronic device set ups/hook-ins, using low voltage cabling (e.g., HDMI, USB, etc.), and light power display troubleshooting Periodically execute complex interactive display installations and troubleshooting (Level 3), working independently or as part of a team PAY/BENEFITS: This role operates on a tiered competitive pay rate system based on the specific level of merchandising work Paid online training to hone your field merchandising skills and prepare you for program success Store-to-store drive time and mileage reimbursement W2 employment with biweekly pay schedule Optional 401(k) plan with employer match Paid time off ARE YOU A MATCH? Previous merchandising, 3PL retail, or relevant field technician experience Superior detail-orientation skills to follow complex written instructions and display diagrams Ability to work independently without direct in-person supervision Access to reliable vehicle transportation to travel to stores throughout assigned territory Access to internet, basic hand-held tool set, and smart phone or tablet with Wi-Fi/GPS Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed Access to a laptop or desktop computer High School diploma or GED Equal Opportunity Employer
