The Restaurant General Manager’s responsibility is to ensure that Food Spot achieves key performance metrics of a fast casual establishment and profit through consistent operational excellence, discipline and a committed team who execute flawlessly. The Restaurant General Manager will teach, train and hold accountable a team of individuals fulfilling and executing the operational compliance, food service standards and health compliance within the restaurant while ensuring every guest has a positive experience while dining and interacting with our team members. This role ensures that the restaurant maintains a clean, sanitary prep kitchen and outside dine- in area. The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for the ordering of food, supplies, materials or other necessary items to ensure proper daily operations along with scheduling, networking and recruitment or other duties as assigned. This role acts as an owner of the business in everything they do.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS-

  • Ensures all team members are maintaining high levels of accuracy on guest orders, managing “to-go” orders, process POS transactions and follow cash handling procedures while also displaying a depth of menu knowledge and tour guiding ability in order to be able to suggest menu or meal options.
  • Have pride in the restaurant by ensuring all cleaning standards are upheld and adhered to at all times
  • Performance evaluations, and reporting incidents to Human Resources and Senior Management
  • Teach, train and manage the performance of all team members, both front of house (FOH) & back of house (BOH).
  • Prep kitchen and dining room.
  • With the use of company approved cleaning products, including but limited to equipment, work surfaces,
  • Ensures all checklists, operational policy & procedures, food safety and other company requirements are adhered to and followed by all team members.
  • Regarding any violations of company policies/procedures and preparing related documentation.
  • Assigned.
  • Maintain recipe books (prep & plating) and cost analysis with management.
  • Making any necessary seasonal adjustments, within wage goal/budget. Maintains proper headcount as
  • Supervises employees by enforcing policies/procedures by documenting disciplinary actions,
  • Documentation is complete, maintained and accurate at all times.
  • Ensures all required checklists, temperature logs, incident reports, waste logs or other company require
  • Ensures adequate staffing at all times, by appropriately scheduling staff based on business trend and
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop a culture of recognition, accountability, discipline, and urgency.
  • Foster and value a safe work environment by following all personal and food safety and security standards.
  • Ensures adequate inventory levels of stock, supplies or other key items to ensure the restaurant successfully operates each day.
  • Leads initial onboarding, orientation and ongoing training to all employees in the restaurant using company training materials.

Qualifications
  • Previous management in a restaurant environment preferred.
  • Ensure all team members maintain proper certifications (serv safe, food handling, etc) at all times.
  • Serves as the point person for new menu rollouts by partnering with leadership.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all maintenance issues, health department, safety ensuring all

  • Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with restaurant management, front line employees and corporate support teams.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time & to move and lift boxes of food/ supplies up to 50 lbs.

Salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000/yr
