The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Receiving and Material Handling Specialist to join our dynamic team in Albuquerque, NM.

Position Responsibilities:

This position will support a major defense contractor with the day-to-day shipping, receiving, property control, operations, and facilities functions as needed. Under general supervision, this person will assist with ensuring materials are properly received and handled using an established process, including data entry in company tools and computer systems. Additional tasks may include maintaining and organized and tidy receiving area, accurate record keeping, tracking and maintaining consumable items around the facility, supporting lab managers in maintaining well stocked and tidy lab areas, general maintenance and repair of the facility and equipment, and assisting with troubleshooting other emergent facility issues as they arise.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Shift:

This position is for 1st shift

Security Clearance & Export Control Requirements:

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

• 1+ years of experience with Shipping & Receiving, along with material storage, record keeping and shop floor knowledge of material handling.
• 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Experience in facility maintenance & repair and general construction.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Pay range: $62,050 -$83,950

To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
