Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What Is the Opportunity?
Under general supervision, works independently and as part of a team, conducts routine to complex sample analyses and calculations using established techniques, tools and methodologies. Produce jobs for peer review that are complete, fully documented, technically correct and meet all quality control protocols. Performs peer review of assigned analyses.
What Will You Do?
  • Provides guidance to clients for sampling protocols and procedures, analytical results, QA, and occupational exposure limits.
  • Using established procedures, performs routine to complex sample preparation and analyses using complex techniques (e.g. metals by ICP and ICPMS, liquid chromatography, ion chromatography, gas chromatography, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry), and prepares sampling media for client use.
  • Enters results into Laboratory Information Management System and presents jobs for peer review that are complete, fully documented, technically correct and meet all quality control protocols.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Understands the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures for the analyses they are performing and is able to perform basic troubleshooting and method development as the need arises.

  • Technical aptitude, detail oriented
  • Undergraduate degree in Chemistry with laboratory experience preferred
  • Superior communication skills written, verbal and listening
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment and independently
  • Strong computer skills for laboratory instrumentation, LIMS, etc.
  • Proven work ethic
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport with a client
What is a Must Have?
  • Undergraduate degree in Chemistry or related science required
