Job Description
Overview:
Performs quality engineering assignments, requiring a wide application of advanced principles, theories and concepts in the field. Provide solutions to problems. Ensure processes and product are being produced to meet or exceed customer requirements. Capable of technical writing for submittal to our customers
Major Position Responsibilities:
  • Provide thorough and solutions to a wide range of technical problems involving the conventional utilization of quality engineering techniques.
  • Plans projects involving the development of new methods to attain objectives.
  • May assist in failure mode effect analysis of product design disclosure documents and specifications.
  • Be able to prepare various quality plans and reports as related to contract requirements.
  • Have a thorough understanding and be able to apply the ISO 9000 concepts and the customers’ quality requirements.
  • Reviews engineering designs and specifications for translation into inspection verification methods.
  • Determines gage and instrumentation adequacy, needs and future usage.
Basic Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Must have knowledge of military and industry standards.
  • Able to develop and present documentation
  • Must be able to interface with various functional groups, suppliers and customers.


Education/Experience:

  • Candidates without a college degree, but with significant experience in quality and/or production processes will be considered.
  • Minimum requirement for entry is a B. S. degree in engineering or some related field and four years related manufacturing experience. Quality experience in a DOD or automotive environment is an advantage
