Our client is actively seeking a talented Project Manager to work with a team located in St. Petersburg. This is a 1-year contract opportunity.

This is a hybrid position with 2 days per week required in office or on-site.

Job Overview

This position will be to manage multiple Telecom projects, working with internal customers, generation plants, transmission, distribution and facilities as well as solar sites. The Project Manager may have relationships with individuals in various organizations ranging from individual contributors to Senior Department Leadership (i.e. individual contributors up to executive management).

Job Responsibilities

• Working with Transmission PMs on current and incoming new projects
• Updating JIRA
• Working with Product Owners to remedy impediments
• Working with Implementation Coordinator on daily/weekly activities
• Updating notes
• Running meetings

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of project management using Jira to manage project workload.
• Chrome / Edge
• Microsoft Teams
• Task management, many small projects, and some larger ones
• Able to adapt
• Familiar with the agile terms
• Good negotiation skills to work between customer and telecom
• Keeping telecom field on a schedule, hard stance – but pleasant
• Being organized and positive
• Must have decent experience with:
• Working knowledge of project management principles.
• Be able to provide notes after each meeting
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• Not afraid to let us know if you are overwhelmed
• Able to manage 30-40 projects at the same time
• Working Knowledge in Project Management, Decision Making, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving; Project related work experience; Risk Management; Project Leadership; Proven Collaborative Team Member.
• Graduation from a two-year college or university.
• Problem solver
• Fast learning, not afraid to ask questions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with:
• Utility & telecom Technical Certifications Training
• Experience in utility & telecom industry.
• Graduation from a four-year college or university.
• CMII certificates.
• Service Now
• JIRA
• Power BI
• PMI (PMP or CAPM) Certification
• Knowledge with working in P6 (scheduling program)
• Knowledge in construction management.
• Primavera / P6

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $65.00 - $70.00 per hour.

The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
