Production Welder Jobs

Duties and Responsibilities:

Welders fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers and measuring tools. Welders will create custom sheet metal parts of various sizes per customer specifications.

This position requires no formal training, and we welcome all skill levels of welders, but we do not have the facilities to teach welding. Candidates with no prior knowledge of welding will not be considered. There are significant opportunities for on-the-job-training as MIG welders learn effective techniques and best practices, helping our employees further their skills.

We frequently have positions available on both our 1st and 2nd shifts.

Qualifications:

All candidates will complete a weld test during the interview process.

Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.

Knowledge of MIG welding techniques.

Attention to detail.

Work Independently, multi-task and have knowledge of production procedure.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Able to stand for entire shift up to 8 hours.

Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs as required.

Ability to safely operate hand, power, welding tools.

Must be able to wear all PPE as needed for each work center.
