Production Supervisor Jobs

The NEW Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift will be responsible for supporting both internal and external customers as directed by their Supervisor or Manager. The Supervisor will assume full ownership and responsibility for ensuring that their work is completed.

• The Supervisor position is for an individual with strong purchasing /inventory/leadership experience.
• Strong written communication skills demonstrating the ability to prepare outlines, reports, letters, and any other supplemental materials in a clear and concise manner
• Practice excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes

Key Accountabilities:

• Serves back-up for the team as well as managing elevated issues.
• Coaching/Mentoring – coach and mentor the team pertaining to processes, project implementation, assisting personnel on day-to-day questions.
• Manages the planning of duties, tasks, and projects for the team
• Miscellaneous duties and special projects as assigned
• Responsibility for completing, compiling and analyzing all assigned reports within the allotted time.

Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications:

• Ability to successfully manage multiple projects
• Ability to complete projects as assigned with minimal supervision
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
• Strong problem solving skills
• 4-years college degree or 2-5 years of applicable purchasing/inventory experience

Must be willing to work 2nd Shift - ONSITE - Northwood, OH
Skills preferred but NOT required:

• ERP experience
• Experience with continuous improvement initiatives
• Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies
